Learning Disability Nursing

This degree qualifies students to register as a Learning Disability Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). The curriculum combines theoretical learning and clinical placements covering person centred care, safeguarding, communication, mental health, and multidisciplinary practice. You’ll also develop skills in working with families, support planning, and health promotion. The course meets NMC standards and prepares students for specialist nursing roles in health and social care.
