English literature

This Master of Arts in English Literature invites students to explore how writers have shaped and been shaped by London’s literary identity across history from Shakespeare through the Victorians to postcolonial and cinematic visions. They engage with novels, poems, films, and cultural texts, deepening critical and contextual understanding of London as both setting and symbol. The programme culminates in a dissertation project focused on research interest within this theme.
