About the Department

The simultaneous studies of the Degree in Audiovisual and the Degree in Journalism belong to the branch of Social and Legal Sciences. In both cases, a sine qua non-condition is constant curiosity about everything that happens in your environment, together with creativity and imagination, as well as a concern for current affairs. These three qualities will allow the student, through the knowledge acquired in the degree, to apply solutions that offer differential added value to the organizations for which they work in the future.

Also, they will be recommended skills and aspirations for the student of simultaneous studies, to have social sensitivity, aptitude for relationships and interpersonal contacts, ability to speak in public, reasoning and verbal comprehension, ability to express oneself correctly both written and verbally, ability to work in a team and manage communication technologies, adaptability, analytical and negotiation skills, flexibility and critical sense.

These simultaneous studies of Audiovisual C. and Journalism lead to the opening of new professional fields for the graduate, who are not only prepared, therefore, in the domain of written, oral and audiovisual languages, but also in the construction of both informative and fictional and entertainment narratives, as well as the use of the latest multimedia and audiovisual production technologies.
