About the Department

Military officers of the Armed Forces, Civil Guard, and Common Defense Corps Officers Scale or with equivalent qualifications, so that they can acquire adequate knowledge to carry out their professional activity more effectively, in the field of the Armed Forces.

Objectives

The objective of the Master in Military Law is to instill in our students a series of civil, criminal, procedural, administrative, labor, and international regulations that are found in this branch. The subjects will be taught by experts in the field to offer our students quality training.

Career Opportunities:

  • Professionals from the legal world, especially law graduates or law graduates, when they finish the master's degree, will have acquired the necessary knowledge to advise military personnel on matters relating to their personnel regime or disciplinary matters, but they will also have adequate preparation to intervene before the Courts or Tribunals in robes, being knowledgeable about the organization and peculiarities of military jurisdiction and having studied in depth the types of criminal offenses provided for in the Military Penal Code.
  • The professional soldier who has the rank of an officer will acquire specific knowledge of all the branches covered by military law, which will allow him to face his professional responsibilities in the best possible way and be able to resolve any administrative file in accordance with current regulations. In addition, since this master's degree is official, it can be noted on the service sheet, so it will give you an extra score in the evaluation processes for promotion. 
  • The official nature of the course will also allow access to the doctorate.
