Program Aim and Outcome

The purpose of the department of tourism management is to train people who can create a bridge between senior officials and other employees in many areas such as travel, food and beverage, marketing, offices, and housekeeping, and who can optimize their professional life for their workplace.

Tourism Management Master Program, in line with the requirements of the sector; the program aims to equip students with effective decision-making, successful and sustainable tourism management knowledge, and make them competitive in the international arena through the courses to be given during the program.

Our university, with the advantage of its location and the advantage of having a Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, has made agreements with various hotel businesses in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and with various businesses (both in Cyprus and abroad - such as Italy and France. In addition, since the Tourism department of the International Final University has close relations with many local and international institutions (Institute of Hospitality, Skul Club, EURHODIP, UNWTO) (eg International Final University Tourism lecturer is also the Secretary General of EURHODIP), professional and institutional There are also internship opportunities in different environments.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of a Tourism Management Master's Degree will be able to be employed in management staff in the Tourism and Food and Beverage Management sector, as they will have knowledge of the management and leadership issues they will acquire. In addition, they will have the opportunity to create a concept by opening their own workplace. In this context, it has been stated in the reports that the potential for people who will work in these positions in Northern Cyprus within the scope of the VETLAM project (Vocational Education Training Project) funded by the European Commission is high. This result is also present in the research conducted by Final International University Tourism Department and Northern Cyprus Turkish Hoteliers Association (KITOB).
