About the Department

This postgraduate course is fundamentally intended for the professionalization and specialization of physiotherapists, but without renouncing, the promotion of research tasks in the field of working life and in university education. In this sense, we highlight the importance we give to the research dimension that, from the practice itself, has in the professional development of physiotherapists.

The exercise of  Physiotherapy in Sports would not be such without the consideration of each particular situation and each sport. On the other hand, both the experience and the evidence can be applied in daily work with any type of physiotherapy intervention, be it diagnostic, therapeutic or preventive, and can be a good instrument to assess the results of these interventions.

Barcelona Innovation Hub

UCAM Spanish Sports University includes training from the Barça Innovation Hub in all of its master's programs aimed at the field of knowledge of each program.

For the Master in Physiotherapy in Sport, the Certificate in Workload and Injuries in Team Sports is included, with which to delve into the effective management of load monitoring data with the aim of avoiding soft tissue injuries
