The University of Salamanca is the only Spanish university that offers a Degree in Italian Studies. 80% of the Italian language teachers in the Official Language Schools come from USAL. Of the 10 University Professors of Italian Philology currently existing in Spain, 6 come from this University. 75% of the Spanish Lecturers in Italian Universities and Secondary Schools in Italy are Graduates or Licentiates in Italian Philology from USAL.
