Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) explores how the tiny structures in metals, ceramics, polymers, electronics, and composites determine their real-world behavior. Students use labs and Discovery Park facilities to study and design materials learning how to choose, process, and characterize materials for industries like aerospace, automotive, electronics, energy, and forensics.
