Gender and Sexualities and Gerontology

This programme exposes students to the medical, psychological and social aspects of ageing, whilst studying various perspectives of ageing – from active, successful, productive to successful ageing – and the history of community and long-term care services for older persons, including the rise of the human rights of older persons. Gender and Sexualities will allow you to explore the various theories and perspectives on gender and sexualities, and the way they interact with other disciplines.
