Required document for Germany Student visa for Nigeria citizens

Before applying for the German student visa it is required to legalize your documents at Ministry of education and foreign affairs. Also, the German embassy in Nigeria announced that it will no longer be possible to appeal against the rejection of a visa application (Remonstration) till the 30th of June 2025. For non-Nigerian nationals: Nigerian residence permit
NPC birth certificate (if born after 13th December 1992) / certified copy of the local birth register OR affidavit (“declaration of age” deposed to by one of the parents or the head of the family, if both parents are late)
