Donetsk National Medical University «DNMU» was the first medical university in Ukraine and in Eastern Europe to start faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy in English for foreign students in 1991. In 2016, DNMU began training students in French as well.

Description

The General Medicine MD/MBSS program at Donetsk National Medical University is designed to train high-quality specialists capable of solving complex tasks related to public health, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Structure

Practical training is a vital component of the program, providing students with hands-on experience in medical preventive establishments, hospitals, and pharmaceutical facilities. The training bases include various medical centers and hospitals where students can apply their knowledge in real-world settings.

The internship programs further enhance students' clinical skills, preparing them for roles as medical practitioners, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialties. Internships focus on orienting students in clinical situations, establishing diagnoses, prescribing treatments, and developing expertise in clinical pharmacy and industrial technology.
