About the Department

  • Graduates qualified for the exercise of the profession of Technical Engineer of Public Works, in the specialties of Hydrology and Civil Construction simultaneously.
  • Graduates are authorized to practice the profession of Public Works Technical Engineer, in one of the two previous specialties (Hydrology or Civil Construction), but not in both.
  • Graduates authorized to exercise the profession of Public Works Technical Engineer, only in the specialty of Transportation and Urban Services.
  • Graduates who, are not authorized to exercise the profession of Public Works Technical Engineer, have completed the basic training module, the common module for the branch, and 48 credits of those offered in the specific technology modules of order CIN/307 /2009 of February 9.

Internship

Agreements are available with the following companies or institutions linked to civil construction, which express their interest in collaborating with the UCAM and with this Master's Degree in Road, Canal, and Port Engineering.

  • Free exercise of the profession, where engineers of roads, canals, and ports carry out projects of all types of works on request, as well as the management of said civil works.

  • Technological centers and research and development centers, where they carry out research, innovation, and technological development projects.
  • BIM Manager.
  • The official nature of the master's degree will also allow access to the doctorate.
