UCAM Spanish Sports University Identifies need to train professionals in all areas of sports management. The sports management program aims to train students in the field of Sports Management and give them a global vision of this sector in constant change and growth. It has the endorsement of the Spanish Olympic Committee for the development of the Master in Continuing Education MBA Sports Management, as well as public and private entities of relevance in the entire national territory.
UCAM Spanish Sports University includes training from the Barça Innovation Hub in all of its master's programs aimed at the field of knowledge of each program.
Student Profile
This program is particularly designed for people who intend to boost their careers in sports management. Applicant must be a graduate in at least one of the following disciplines;
Business Administration and Management.
Physical Activity and Sport Sciences.
Any area of knowledge who want to orient their professional career towards sports management.
Objectives
On completion of the Sports Management program, students are qualified to:
Correctly and accurately interpret the law regarding sports by which both public and private sports organizations are governed.
Manage quality processes and policies in sports organizations.
Resource planning (human, organizational, and financial) of sports institutions.
Manage any type of sports facility in a sustainable manner.
Organize sporting events at local, national and international levels.
Create a communication plan for organizations and sports events.
Research and teach sports management.
Career Opportunities
The training obtained through the Master's program provides access to the job market in both the public and private sectors. Students are exposed to managerial opportunities in the sports sector. The skills attained by the students prepare them for leadership positions as well as for creating their own business plans as entrepreneurs.
Requirement
- Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree with CGPA > 2.50/4.00 OR 3.0-3.5/5.00
