The Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, founded in 2003 by Tuğrul Şavkay, is the first Gastronomy and Culinary Arts program established in Turkey. We are dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the rich Turkish culinary culture in an academic milieu and to the promotion of this culture throughout the world.
