Pharmaceutical science

This is a 36 months undergraduate degree that focuses on the full lifecycle of drug development, from design and synthesis to formulation and manufacturing. Core modules include pharmaceutical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, physiology, and pharmaceutics. Teaching is done through lectures, seminars, lab practicals, workshops, reports, and exams. Students have the option to complete a year-long industrial placement between Years 2 and 3
