Africana Studies

The Africana Studies program at New York University (NYU) is an interdisciplinary undertaking that explores the histories, cultures, economies, politics, and identities of Africans and the African diaspora across the globe. The program is housed in the Department of Social and Cultural Analysis and offers both a major and a minor in Africana Studies.
