More specifically, it studies the composition and function of biomolecules, the organisation of cells, plant and animal organisms, microorganisms, the functional aspects of living beings, the phenomena of inheritance, how living beings and their environment relate to each other, phenomena of immunity, evolutionary biology, etc.
