English Studies

The basic aim of the Degree Course in English Studies is to produce professionals with a high level of expression and comprehension in English and a comprehensive awareness of the linguistic, historical, cultural and literary realities of English-speaking countries. Accordingly, the course concentrates on the acquisition of English and a second foreign language, methods of textual and contextual analysis, the history of the English language, literature and criticism.
